What a great weekend! I think our team just outdid ourselves to a point we were all feeling tired and under the weather that following Monday.

IAFA 2021 Aesthetic Symposium
We attended the 9th annual IAFA Aesthetic Symposium on November 12-13 at the Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach. On day 1 we sat through a variety of acclaimed speakers and industry experts who covered an array of innovative topics and had a few LIVE Demonstrations.

How can we forget the most trending procedure.... Lip Fillers!
(Can you tell we were trying really hard not to notice or laugh at the camera man pointing straight at us. LOL)
After a full day of mind packing continuing education of the industries latest beauty secrets, we ended our night with the 70's DISCO cocktail social. We got to hang out with a great group of easy going colleagues.

After the night ended we actually headed to a roof top at Moxy's rooftop in Miami. A must if you are looking to get a spectacular view of Miami Downtown.
Day 2 consisted of advanced hands-on / interactive workshops led by top experts. The advanced clinical workshops combined expert demonstrations and actual hands-on experience on pre-qualifies live model patients.
Dr. Le took the Advanced Lip Rejuvenation in the morning, adding on to her basic clinical knowledge of lip fillers.
The afternoon course was several hours in the Cadaver lab. Making sure we all become safe injectors by knowing what lies beneath the skin. Where the vessels are, what sites to avoid and where to inject to dissolve vessel occlusion that can cause blindness ( a very rare risk when it comes to dermal fillers.
After a long day of continuing education. Staff went to Juvia for a celebration! Juvia is a popular restaurant of Eclectic food and drink with South Beach views in an ultramodern space atop a designer parking garage. Love the food here.

The following morning we stopped by the Miami Design District. The place has grown and gentrified immensely, yet kept the flair of Miami.
The Rusty Pelican. Our last stop before heading home to Sarasota FL. We had brunch there. Food was delicious! Make sure you book ahead for reservations, especially if. you wanted the outdoor seating and a spectacular view of the water.
